Marcia Heide ( port of Márcia Haydée Salaverry Pereira da Silva ; born April 18, 1937 , Niterói ) is a Brazilian ballerina and choreographer.

Biography
Born in the family of a doctor. At the age of three, she began dancing. Received a ballet education in London, at . Since 1953, she danced in the Teatro Municipal, since 1957 - in the (Monaco). Since 1961 she worked in the under the direction of John Cranco ; since 1962 - prima ballerina of this troupe. It was the first performer of the main female party iconic works of such choreographers as John Cranko , Kenneth MacMillan , John Neumeier . She danced with Maurice Bejart in his “ Ballet of the 20th Century ”.
In 1976-1995 she headed the Stuttgart Ballet. She staged the ballets Sleeping Beauty (1987) and Giselle (1989). In 1992-1996, she directed the ballet troupe of the " Ballet Santiago " (Chile). Once again took this post in 2003.
Personal life
She was married to dancer . In 1995, she married yoga teacher Gunther Schöberl.
