Geography
The village is located 22 km northwest of the district center, the village of Glubokoe, 2 km from the railway station. Predgornaya station (on the Lokot - Ust-Kamenogorsk line).
History
It was founded in 1920 in connection with the development of a polymetallic ore deposit [2] .
Population
In 1999, the population of the village was 4069 people (1866 men and 2203 women) [3] . According to the 2009 census , 3545 people lived in the village (1692 men and 1853 women) [3] .
