“Az Zabaniya” in Arabic
az-Zabaniya ( Arabic. الزبانية ) - in Islamic eschatology , the angels of hell ( Jahannama ) or angels who carry away souls at the time of death [1] . Mentioned in the Qur'an in Sura Al-Alak (Clot): “ We will call the hellish guards! " [2] . Sura al-Tahrim (Prohibition) speaks of the harsh and strong angels in hell, who " do not depart from the commands of Allah and do everything they are commanded " [3] . According to the 30th verse of Sura al-Muddassir, the number of angels in az-Zabaniya is 19 [4] .
According to Islamic tradition , the angels of Zabania will meet sinners with chains and chains. Angels will beat them with iron clubs, and whenever they want to go out, they will return them back [5] [6] [7] .
