Content
Story
The plot of the film is based on a poem by Daniil Kharms, "The Persistence of Fun and Dirt," [2] which contains the lines:
| A janitor with a black mustache Stands again at the gate And scratches with dirty hands Under the dirty hat is the back of his head. [3] |
This character is the central figure of the picture. The film tells about the eternal desire of man for the beautiful, sometimes even reaching a complete rejection of "earthly" existence. [2] The janitor is so overwhelmed with a high feeling that the yard is no longer in power and swims away in a month-boat in the sky ... [4]
