Content
History
The club was founded on April 1, 1911 by a group of Slovaks called “ Sarmiento Football Club ”. January 27, 1933 the name of the team was changed to the present. Since 1952, Atletico Sarmiento has been participating in official competitions.
Until 2015, Atletico Sarmiento spent two years in Example , the main Argentine football league, in 1981 and 1982. According to the results of 2014, “athletes” took fourth place in Zone B Examples B Nacional and after 32 years achieved a return to the elite division.
