Geography
The village of Sermino is located in the northern part of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district, about 4 km west of the city of Orekhovo-Zuevo . Altitude 125 m [3] . Near the village flows the river Vyrka . SNT Victoria and Chance are assigned to the village [4] . The nearest settlement is the village of Fedorovo , Nesterovo and Demikhovo .
History
In 1926, the village was the center of the Sermino-Nesterovsky village council of the Fedorov volost of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district of the Moscow province [5] .
Since 1929 - a settlement within the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district of the Moscow region, since 1930, in connection with the abolition of the district, - as part of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district of the Moscow region.
Before the municipal reform of 2006, Sermino was part of the Demikhovsky rural district of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district [6] .
Population
In 1926, 200 people lived in the village (81 men, 119 women), there were 36 households, of which 33 were peasant [5] . According to the 2002 census , 7 people (4 men, 3 women) [7] .
