Content

Story

The history of the Krupnov family (1917-1941) - hereditary steelworkers who began their career before the revolution - at the plant of the German industrialist Heitel.
The first series is “Brothers”, the second is “Sons”.
Three brothers, Denis, Matvey, Sawa, in front of whom the October Revolution opened ways.

Denis Krupnov ( Ivan Lapikov ) with steel sons is brewing, Sawa ( Georgy Epifantsev ) was promoted to the high post of Deputy Commissar of Heavy Industry, Matvey ( Vladislav Strzhelchik ) in his time for diplomatic service.
Two series of the film “Sources” will introduce us to the representatives of the older generation - Denis and his wife Lyubava ( Alexander Klimov ), brothers Matvey and Savva; with Denis's children - Yuri ( Nikolai Olyalin ), Kostya, Mikhail, Sanka, Lena and his grandchildren; with their closest friends and their lovers.
They are all different, but they all have a “Krupnovsky” character and bear their name with honor.
