Title
From the Mordovian pagan name of the first settler, Kala ( Kolas ). Another version of the name, from Erzya: " Kolaz " - chopped and " Vele " - the village. That is, in fact, the village of Kalasevo consists of 2 villages - Kalasevo and Kanakleika . The border is the Kanak River, from which the village of Kanakleika is called. From the Erzyan Kanaklake - the Kanak River .
Geography
Located on the Alatyr River, 25 km from the district center and 18 km from the Ardatov railway station.
History
In historical documents it is referred to as D. Kolaseva (1624), Tetingeyeva (1671), Old Kalaseva (1696). In the "List of Populated Places of the Simbirsk Province" (1863) Kalasevo - a specific village of 80 yards (770 people) of the Ardatov district .
In the 1930s a collective farm was organized. In 1997, the collective farm of the village of Kalasevo, merged with the collective farm of the neighboring village of Kanakleika, and the Druzhba agricultural production complex was formed.
