Courcelles-Chaucy ( French: Courcelles-Chaussy ) is a commune in the French department of the Moselle region of Lorraine . The administrative center of the newly created canton of Pei Mesen . Until March 2015, the commune was administratively part of the abolished canton of Panj .

Courcelles-Chaucy is located 300 km east of Paris and 17 km east of Metz .
History
- In the XVI century, the village was part of the Senorat de Manzhan.
- In 1812, Pont-a-Shosi was attached to the commune.
- After the defeat of France in the Franco-Prussian war of 1870-1871, along with Alsace and the Moselle department, it was transferred to Germany through the Frankfurt Peace and was part of Germany until 1918, when it was transferred to France again under the Treaty of Versailles.
