Biography
Born October 22, 1970 in Bryansk . In 1973 he moved to Moscow with his parents. Baptized in infancy.
In 1978-1986 he studied at secondary school No. 106 of the city of Moscow, in 1986-1989 - at vocational school No. 129. From 1989 to 1991, he served in the Armed Forces.
In February 1992, he entered the Nikolaev Verkhotursky Monastery of the Yekaterinburg Diocese .
On April 24, 1992, with the blessing of the Archbishop of Yekaterinburg and Kurgan Melchizedek, Viceroy of the Nicholas Monastery, Father Superior Tikhon (Zatekin) was tonsured monastic with the name Paisius in honor of the Monk Paisiy Velichkovsky .
On April 29, 1992, Archbishop Melchizedek of Yekaterinburg was ordained hierodeacon in the Church of All-Merciful Savior of the city of Yekaterinburg.
On May 31, 1992, Archbishop Melchizedek of Yekaterinburg in the Dalmatian Monastery in the Kurgan Region was ordained a hieromonk .
In March 1993 he moved to the Novospassky stauropegial monastery of the city of Moscow.

In 2002-2005 he studied in absentia at the Moscow Theological Academy .
On August 29, 2007, Archbishop Alexis of Orekhovo-Zuevsky was elevated to the rank of hegumen .
In December 2007 he defended his thesis on the theme "The activities of Grand Duke Sergei Alexandrovich Romanov as chairman of the Imperial Orthodox Palestinian Society (1882-1905)."
Since October 2011 - Dean of the Novospassky Monastery.
Since 2013 he has been teaching theological and pastoral disciplines at the Slavic-Greek-Latin Academy . [1] .

On July 29, 2014, during the Liturgy in the Transfiguration Cathedral of the Novospassky Monastery, the Viceroy of the monastery, Savva, was elevated to the rank of Archimandrite [3] .
July 30, 2014 in the Patriarchal residence of the Danilov Monastery was named Bishop of Shchigrovsky and Manturovsky . The rite of appointment was headed by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill [4] .
On August 19, 2014, in the Transfiguration Cathedral of the Solovetsky Monastery, he was consecrated bishop of Shchigrovsky and Manturovsky .
