SIG MG 710-3 - Swiss single machine gun . Produced by SIG Sauer (Schweizerische Industrie Gesellschaft). Was developed for export. The basis for the development, which began in 1955, served as the MG 45 machine gun , created on the basis of the MG 42 . Automation is based on a semi-free shutter and shoots from the open shutter [1] . The machine gun SIG MG 710-3 was completed with a folding biped bipod as well as a tripod infantry machine. Since the early 1980s, the release of the machine gun was discontinued [2] .
