Here for a Good Time is the 27th studio album of American country singer George Straight , released on September 6, 2011 via MCA Nashville Records. The album was produced by Tony Brown and Straight himself. Three singles from the disc hit the Hot Country Songs chart . The album received positive reviews from music critics; it reached No. 1 on the country charts Top Country Albums and No. 3 on the Billboard 200 ( USA ). On November 30, 2011, the album received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Country Album [13] .

Here for a Good Time was recorded at Shrimpboat Sound Studio ( Key West , Florida ), which recorded the last three albums of George Straight [14] . Co-producer of the album was Straight's longtime partner Tony Brown [15] . Here for a Good Time debuted at No. 3 on the US Billboard 200 charts and No. at the Country Albums country chart with a print run of 91,000 copies [16] .
