Biography
Stepan Beta was born in Mukachevo, however, he began to take the first serious steps in big football in Dnepropetrovsk. 1987 brought the first trophy - the Dnepr take became the winner of the championship of the Soviet Union among duplicating teams [1] . However, it was difficult to break into the basis of the Dnepropetrovsk club at that time, so Bez started the next season with Shakhtar from Gorlovka, who played in the second league of the USSR championship, but played there only half a season, moving to Simferopol Tavria . Then he moved to Zaporozhye Metallurg , where he attracted the attention of breeders of Dynamo Kyiv . Beta’s career in Kiev developed quite rapidly - in 1990 he once again received gold awards for winning the USSR championship among backup teams [2] , and already in 1991 became a player in the base of the Kiev club (he debuted in the main team on March 11, 1991 in the match against Moscow “Torpedo” (1: 3) [3] ). At the end of 1992, he crashed in a car - Beta was driving to Dnepropetrovsk with Alexei Sasko , both football players drove from Kiev to Dnepropetrovsk on Betza's Mercedes. At high speed, the car skidded and threw off the track directly into the tree. Sasko died on the spot, Beta died in the hospital without regaining consciousness.
