History
According to the lists of populated places of the Russian Empire in 1872, the village belonged to the 2nd camp of the Galich district of the Kostroma province . It consisted of 7 yards , lived 21 men and 27 women. [2]
According to the 1897 census , 65 people lived in the village (23 men and 42 women). [3]
According to the List of populated areas of the Kostroma province in 1907, the village belonged to the Bykovsky volost of the Galich district of the Kostroma province . According to the volost administration for 1907 there were 15 peasant households and 97 inhabitants. There was a butter factory in the village. The main occupations of the villagers, in addition to farming, were painting and stove work. [3]
Before the municipal reform of 2010, the village was also part of the Stepanovsky rural settlement. [4] [5]
