Biography
Born October 23, 1937 in the village. Caviar of the Astrakhan region. Higher education.
In 1954-1963 he served in the USSR Armed Forces.
In 1963-1980 - design engineer , head of the bureau, chairman of the trade union committee, director of the branch of the Azov Optical and Mechanical Plant.
In 1980-1994 - Deputy General Director of NPO Geophysics - Director of the Quantum Plant.
From 1994 to 2014 - General Director and Chief Designer of OAO NPP Kvant.
Under his leadership, a factory was built in record time and production of complex optical-electronic devices for orienting manned and unmanned spacecraft was organized. He leads research and development work in the field of development and production of optoelectronic devices for orienting and astronavigating spacecraft used in both Russian and international space projects. During the period of production activity, the enterprise mastered the manufacture of 25 items of optoelectronic devices for orienting spacecraft, which worked as part of more than 50 domestic and international projects.
He was repeatedly awarded with State and departmental awards, awards of the Cosmonautics Federation of Russia, the Government of the Russian Federation and the Rostov Region.
From April 2012 to the present, he is under investigation - he is suspected of committing three serious crimes and one medium-gravity crime.
