Biography
Born on July 27, 1923 in the village of Shestakovo, now Chebulinsky district, Kemerovo region, in a peasant family, Russian by nationality.
He graduated from 7 classes, agricultural school. He worked as a mechanic. In the Red Army since December 1941.
Gunner of the 280th Guards Rifle Regiment (92nd Guards Rifle Division, 37th Army, Steppe Front) candidate for membership of the CPSU (b) Red Army soldier Frolov on October 19, 1943 distinguished himself when crossing the Dnieper in the Lukovka hamlet ( Pyatikhatsky district, Dnepropetrovsk region ), seizing the bridgehead on the right bank and in the battles for its retention. Left alone, he knocked out a tank, burned 2 armored vehicles and destroyed enemy soldiers before the platoon.
The title of Hero of the Soviet Union was awarded on February 22, 1944. Since 1944 - member of the CPSU (b) / CPSU.
In 1945, the foreman Frolov was demobilized. He lived in Nikolaev . In 1958 he graduated from a trade college, worked in the catering system .
