Changqing ( Chinese Governor 长 清 , Pinyin : Chángqīng ) is the district of the city subordination of the sub-provincial city of Jinan , Shandong Province ( PRC ). The name of the district is formed from the hieroglyphs included in the names of two significant objects on its territory: the Tsiskoy Great Wall (Qi Chang Cheng) and the Qing Shui River.

History
During the epochs of Spring and Autumn and the Fighting States, this territory was part of the Principality of Qi . In 685 BC. er Qi began to build a fortification here, known as the Tsiskaya Great Wall .
When the kingdom of Qin conquered all the other kingdoms , and created the first unified centralized state in the history of China, these lands became part of the Luxian county (卢 县). During the Han dynasty, they were divided between the districts of Lusyan, Chisyan (茌 县) and Zhuhe (阿 县).
When the Sui Empire in 594, Changqing County (长清县) was created. Under the Tang Empire, Fenqi (丰 齐 县), Zhuhe and Zibei (济 北 县) counties were annexed to it.
In 1950, the Tai'an Special District (区 区 区区) was formed, and the county became part of it.
In 1956, a part of the county lying to the west of the Yellow River was annexed to Qihe County.
In 1959, the Special Area of Tai'an was disbanded. Changqing County was also disbanded, and its territory was divided between Licheng , Feicheng and Pingyin Counties . In 1961, Changqing County was recreated. In 1978, it was transferred to the jurisdiction of Jinan.
In accordance with the decision of the State Council of China on June 26, 2001, Changqing County has been transformed since 2002 into the area of city subordination.
