“I Believe I Can Fly” (song “I Believe I Can Fly” ) is the song of American R&B artist Ar Kelly , originally released in 1996, as a single to the soundtrack of the movie “ Space Jam ”. Two years later, the composition was re-released on Kelly R.'s album.

In early 1997, the song reached the second line on the Billboard Hot 100 , losing only to Tony Brexton with the single “ Un-Break My Heart ”. Despite the fact that “I Believe I Can Fly” has not conquered the top of Billboard, it remains the biggest hit of Ar Kelly. At the same time, the single headed the hit parade of R&B Singles for six weeks and took the first line of the British chart . “I Believe I Can Fly” received three Grammy Awards [1] . In 2004, Rolling Stone reporters put the song in 406th place on its list of “ 500 Greatest Songs of All Time ” [2] .

  • On October 13, 2012, the Endeavor shuttle was transported from the Los Angeles International Airport to the California Science Center through the city streets - the song sounded when the shuttle left the Forum .
