Biography
In 1942 he graduated from École William Ponty near Dakar. He became an ally of Felix Ufue-Boigny and held leading positions in the African Democratic Union . In 1957, he was one of the co-founders of the United Democratic Union party.
- 1946-1951 and 1956-1958 - Member of the French National Assembly from the Ivory Coast ,
- 1953-1956 - Member of the Senate of France.
In 1958 he was appointed chairman of the government council of the French Upper Volta.
