The list of lost Mi- 8s of all modifications (including Mi-9, -14 , -17, -18 , -19, -171 and -172) is compiled from data from open sources [1] sources and takes into account only accidents or external forces that led to the loss of the helicopter or its cancellation due to damage.

| 2 | 5'th of July | Mi-8T RA-22350 | Irkutsk region , Katanga district , 190 km north of Kirensk | 2/12 | When the passengers disembarked in hovering mode (landing was excluded due to the low density of the soil), a left roll appeared at the helicopter. PIC tried to level the helicopter, as a result of which there was a roll already on the right side. At this moment, the right landing gear fell into the ground, the car tilted harder, hit the rotor blades on the ground and the helicopter capsized. Three passengers engaged in unloading, were injured by the blades, two of them died [3] . |

The car touched the tops of the trees on the top of the hill, the crew went to an emergency landing . During the landing, the car hit the ground with the tail rotor, capsized on the port side and collapsed. KBC died [6] . |
