Vladimir Danilovich Grishko ( Ukrainian: Volodimir Danilovich Grishko ; born July 28, 1960 , Kiev , Ukrainian SSR , USSR ) - Ukrainian singer (tenor). People's Artist of Ukraine ( 1996 ) [1] [2] . Laureate of the National Prize of Ukraine named after T. Shevchenko ( 2001 ).

Biography

Vladimir Grishko was born on July 28 in Kiev . Soloist of the Mariinsky Theater in 1996-2006, soloist of the Metropolitan Opera (New York). His name is listed in the Book of Records of Ukraine, because he is the only Ukrainian opera singer who performed the main parts 44 times in the Metropolitan Opera from 1995 to 2008. For a long time Vladimir Grishko continued his career as an opera singer. Now the artist has changed his repertoire and is recording pop songs. Especially popular are the songs "Further and Further", "Beautiful", "Song of Love." Vladimir debuted as a pop singer in December 2011, when he presented his first pop album “Alien Paradise” and a video clip for the song “Inexplicable”.

From 1989 to 1991 he worked as an assistant trainee at the Kiev State Conservatory. Tchaikovsky . At the same time (since 1990), for 9 years, he performed as a soloist in the opera of the Taras Shevchenko Kiev Academic Opera and Ballet Theater . Subsequently, Vladimir Danilovich became the leading stage master of the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. T. Shevchenko [3] .

In 2004, Vladimir Danilovich was the producer of the Kievan Rus Slavic festival to unite the culture of the Slavic peoples of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.

In 2005, together with James Labri and Thomas Duval, he worked on a project called True Symphonic Rockestra (in which opera music was performed in rock style).

From 2006 to the present - professor of the P. Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine .

In 2007, he created the project “The Face of the New Opera” at the National Opera and Ballet Theater (the classics were turned into a modern show with hip-hop and dancing on stilts) [4] .

In 2010, Vladimir Grishko performed in Edinburgh ( Scotland ) with Demis Roussos and Ricky e Poveri .

In May 2011, Vladimir Grishko presented the Golden Hits audio album, gave a recital with the new program “Masterpieces of World Hits”.

In December 2011, Vladimir Grishko and Montserrat Caballe had a concert at the Ukraine National Palace of Arts .

In March 2012, Vladimir Grishko held a recital “Beloved by March 8 ” at the Ukraine National Palace.

In April 2013, Vladimir Grishko in London became an honorary member of the jury of the international vocal competition "classic old romance". In the same year, Vladimir released two pop albums - “Inexplicable” and “Prayer”.

In 2014, the name of the singer was entered in the Book of Records of Ukraine, where he was presented as the only Ukrainian opera singer who performed the main parts 44 times in the Metropolitan Opera from 1994 to 2008.

In 2015, Vladimir Grishko had a great success in a concert tour of China and Europe, during which, in addition to concerts, he gave master classes in vocals for young opera and pop singers.
