Vasily Antonovich Glazkov (August 1, 1909 - May 12, 1992) - Soviet footballer who played in the position of defender.

Biography
Glazkov was born in the city of Debaltseve , the territory of the modern Donetsk region of Ukraine . His first clubs were the Taganrog “Leninets” and “Dynamo”. Most of his football career went to Dynamo from Rostov-on-Don , in 1936 he also played for Stakhanovets, now Shakhtar Donetsk . In 1938, with Rostov Dynamo, he first participated in the USSR Major League , where he spent 18 matches and scored one goal.
In 1940, Glazkov moved to Dynamo Kiev . Three years earlier, he was already invited to the Kiev club to play against the Basque national team during the last tour of the USSR . In that match, Dynamo lost 3-1. In 1942, Glazkov’s career was interrupted due to the Great Patriotic War , of which he had become a participant. After the war, he played five matches in the Dynamo double, then completed his career.
Glazkov died on May 12, 1992 in the city of Azov , Rostov Region of Russia .
