She graduated from the Azerbaijan State Conservatory with a degree in choral conducting.

Since 1980, he teaches conducting and special subjects (choral studies, methods of teaching choral disciplines, choral literature, reading scores, choir) first at BMU named after A. Zeynalli, and then since 1993 at the Baku Academy of Music.

Since 1989 he is the main choirmaster of the Opera Studio. S. Mammadova at the Baku Music Academy.

In 1996, she was appointed artistic director and chief conductor of the Azerbaijan State Choir.

In October 2001, she was awarded the honorary title of Honored Artist, in 2007 - the People's Artist of Azerbaijan.

Since 1999, Associate Professor of the Department of Choral Conducting. Currently holds the position of professor of the department. He has diplomas of the Ministry of Culture of Georgia and the President of Georgia E. Shevardnadze for participating in the international choir festival in 1996, as well as honorary government prizes of Turkey for participating in international festivals 1999, 2000.

During her teaching, she raised a number of choirmine conductors, among them 5 masters, 10 bachelors, an assistant graduate student.
