History

The pharmaceutical company ZAO MBNPK Tsitomed was founded in 1989.

In 2012, the construction of the Cytomed Oy factory in Finland was completed . The volume of investments in the project amounted to about 15 million euros [1] .

In 2016, the construction of the plant in the Novoorlovskaya Special Economic Zone in St. Petersburg was completed and licensing of the new production site began. The volume of investment in the project at this stage is more than 1 billion rubles [2] .

Since 2008, the production site is located on Vasilievsky Island. The territory of production is 1.2 thousand square meters. m. The finished dosage forms are produced at the plant: syrup, powder, capsules, suppositories, spray, cream, as well as pharmaceutical substances : Timogen, Prostatilen, Imichimod, Zinc arginyl glycinate.

In 2012, the construction of the Cytomed Oy factory in Finland was completed in the village of Rauha in the municipality of Lappeenranta . In 2013, the plant passed the first inspection by the Finnish Pharmaceutical Safety and Development Agency (Fimea) for compliance with EU Good Manufacturing Practice Rules (EU GMP) and received a license and a GMP certificate for capsule manufacturing [3] .
