Racial composition of the population: white - 97.49%, African - Americans - 1.00%, Native Americans ( Indians ) - 0.20%, Asians - 0.26%, Hawaiians - 0.01%, representatives of other races - 0.27 %, representatives of two or more races - 0.78%. Hispanics accounted for 0.89% of the population, regardless of race .
