There are 12 807 residential buildings in the district, with a building density of about 9.00 buildings per km 2 . Racial composition of the population: white - 94.91%, African Americans - 3.69%, Native Americans ( Indians ) - 0.20%, Asians - 0.16%, Hawaiians - 0.02%, representatives of other races - 0.30 %, representatives of two or more races - 0.72%. Hispanic accounted for 1.02% of the population, regardless of race .
