The racial composition of the population: white - 96.34%, African Americans - 2.14%, Native Americans ( Indians ) - 0.16%, Asians - 0.37%, Hawaiians - 0.03%, representatives of other races - 0.47 %, representatives of two or more races - 0.48%. Hispanic people accounted for 0.98% of the population, regardless of race .
