Population
In 1999, the population of the village was 3107 people (1669 men and 1438 women) [3] . According to the 2009 census , 2507 people lived in the village (1248 men and 1259 women) [3] .
Culture and sport
In the village are located:
- House of Culture [4] ;
- Sports complex for football, volleyball, boxing, Greco-Roman wrestling [5] ;
- The building of the inoperative St. John the Theological Church. Built in the 1850s, closed in 1929. Currently, the building is managed by the armed forces of Kazakhstan [6] .
