Biography
Born in 1924 in the Sokolovsky district of the North Kazakhstan region. In 1939 he entered the collective farm “Dozor Ilyich” of the Skolovsky district of the North Kazakhstan region. Since 1942 he participated in the Great Patriotic War. After demobilization in 1947, he worked as a tractor driver in the Undarovsk MTS of the Isheevsky District of the Ulyanovsk Region . In 1955 he moved to Kazakhstan, where he began to work as a foreman of the tractor brigade of the Rodnikovskaya MTS in the village of Petropavlovka, Aktobe region. Since 1961, he worked as the foreman of the tractor field crew at the state farm "40 years of the Kazakh SSR" of the Aktobe district of Aktobe region.
In 1970, the tractor team of Fedor Mayorov collected an average of 12.9 centners of grain. In 1973, the team plowed 2.5 thousand hectares of virgin lands and collected 86 thousand centners of grain from an area of 5570 hectares, receiving an average of 14.9 centners of grain per hectare. For this valiant work, Fedor Mayorov was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor in 1973.
