Arhat ( kaz. Argat ) is a village in the Abay district of the East Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center of the Arkhat rural district. The KATO code is 633235100 [1] .

In 1999, the village population was 1,541 people (797 men and 744 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 816 people (419 men and 397 women) lived in the village [2] .
