Knyazchino is a village in the Taldomsky district of the Moscow region of Russia . It is part of the rural settlement Guslevskoe . The population is 14 [1] people. (2010).

Geography
Located in the southern part of the district, about 21 km southeast of the city center of Taldom . It is connected by bus with urban settlements Verbilki and Zaprudnya [2] . The regional highway P112 runs 3.5 km west. The nearest settlements are the villages of Novaya and Starkovo .

History
In the βList of Populated Placesβ of 1862, Knyasheno is the owner's village of the 2nd camp of the Alexander district of the Vladimir province on the right side of the Dubna river, south of the Nushpol swamp, at a pond and a well, 72 versts from the county town, with 12 yards and 121 residents (66 men, 55 women) [3] .
According to 1905, it was part of the Nushpolsky volost of the Alexander district, in the village there were 26 yards, 181 people lived [4] .
By a resolution of the Presidium of the Moscow Soviet on March 31, 1923, together with part of the villages of the Nushpolsky volost, it was included in the Gara volost of the Leninsky district of the Moscow province [8] .
According to the materials of the 1926 All-Union Population Census, the village of the Starikovsky village council of the Gara volost of the Leninsky district, 142 residents (56 men, 86 women) lived, there were 32 households, including 29 peasant [5] .
Since 1929 - a settlement within the Leninsky district of the Kimry district of the Moscow region.
In 1930, the Starikovsky Village Council, together with the also abolished Kushkovsky Village Council, was merged into the Starikovo-Garsky Village Council.
By the decree of the CEC and the Council of People's Commissars of July 23, 1930, the okrug as an administrative-territorial unit was liquidated. By a decree of the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee on December 27, 1930, the historical name Taldom was returned to the city of Leninsk, and the district was renamed Taldomsky.
In 1954, the Starikovo-Garsky Village Council was abolished, and its territory was transferred to the Pavlovsky Village Council [9] .
From 1994 to 2006 - the village of the Pavlovic rural district of Taldomsky district [10] [11] .
Since 2006 - the village of the rural settlement Guslevskoe .
