History
When the kingdom of Qin for the first time in history united China, these places became part of the Zibei District (济 北 郡), and it was then that this locality became known as “Lysya” in documents.
When the Han Empire in 153 BC. e. Licheng County was created, the board of which was located in these places. Subsequently, it was here that all levels of government were located: county, city council, province.
In 1929, the city of Jinan was formally established, and areas No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 were created in these places.
In 1955, the Jinan administrative-territorial division was reformed, and the districts were given names instead of numbers — then Lysya appeared.
Administrative division
The district is divided into 14 street committees .
