Tachardina lereddei (lat.) Is a species of half-winged insects — a coccid of the genus Tachardina from the family of varnish worms Kerriidae ^[1] .

Description

They feed on plant juices such as Tamarix gallica ( Tamaricaceae ). The species was first described in 1950 by the French entomologist Alfred Balakhowsky ( Alfred Serge Balachowsky , 1901-1983) ^[1] ^[3] . Tachardina lereddei is included in the genus Tachardina Cockerell , 1901 ^[1] ^[4] .
