The house in which Armin Müller-Stahl was born is an architectural monument located in Sovetsk (until 1946 - Tilsit). The building is a cultural heritage site. . It is recognized as one of the main architectural sights of the city of Sovetsk, one of the most beautiful historical buildings of the Kaliningrad region . The building gained additional fame due to the fact that the famous actor Armin Müller-Stahl was born in it. . There is an urban legend that a brothel was located in the building .

Description
It is a high four-story house with tongs on the pediment , a turret, a variety of decorative ornaments on the facade and an outstanding corner bay window . It has a very rich decorative and artistic decoration.
In this house, December 17, 1930, in the family of a bank employee, Armin Müller-Stahl was born. He studied at the nearby Meerwish School. In 1945, the Müller-Stahl family, fleeing the war, was forced to leave for Berlin .
After the war, the building housed the hostel of the Kaliningrad Regional College of Culture and Arts of the city of Sovetsk. After the college closed in 2010, the picturesque building is empty, dilapidated and destroyed.
