The racial composition of the population: whites - 95.34%, African Americans - 2.49%, Native Americans ( Indians ) - 0.27%, Asians - 0.50%, Hawaiians - 0.03%, representatives of other races - 0.38 %, representatives of two or more races - 0.98%. Hispanic made up 1.24% of the population regardless of race .
