Shakhovsky, Grigory Ivanovich

Shakhovskoy, Grigory Ivanovich (January 1706–10, 1774) - prince, current state adviser, Belgorod governor, vice president of the State Audit College; the son of Prince Ivan Perfilievich Shakhovsky (c. 1650-1716) and Princess Tatyana Fedorovna Yusupova, nee Princess Korkodina (d. 1719). Grandson deceitful of Prince Perfiliy Ivanovich Shakhovsky .

Biography

He was born in 1706 and joined the life regiment, and at the founding of the Horse Regiment he was transferred there with the rank of lieutenant. On March 14, 1789, Shakhovskoi filed a petition for resignation due to illness, by personal decree he was dismissed from military service and released home for two years. On September 17 of the same year he was granted college advisers. On September 22, 1741, Empress Anna Ivanovna beat his forehead with a brow about awarding him the rank of state adviser, which was fulfilled. On September 30, 1741, due to a lack of members in the Moscow Chamber College, Grigory Ivanovich was appointed an adviser there. March 29, 1753 granted the vice president of the Audit College. On December 18, 1757 he was sent as an ambassador to Constantinople and on February 3, 1761 he was promoted to acting state councilor .

Upon accession to the throne of Catherine II , Shakhovskaya, who at that time held the post of Belgorod governor, became involved in the case of wine bribes in the Belgorod province, for which he was deprived of all “ranks and power of attorney connected with them,” but “in reasoning, zeal and zeal for the service of his uncle Jacob Shakhovsky ”, this punishment was replaced by a four-year exile in his village. In addition, it was ordered not to determine him from now on for any business, not to go to the Court and not to enter the Belgorod province .

Family

He was married to Maria Illarionovna Koshkarova (d. 1769). Their kids:

  • Boris (1737-1813), lieutenant general, one of the associates of A.V. Suvorov . He was married to a bar. Varvara Aleksandrovna Stroganova (1748–1823), daughter of Lieutenant-General Baron Alexander Grigorievich Stroganov (1698–1754) from his third marriage with Maria Artemyevna Isleneva (nee Zagryazhskaya) (1722–1784).
  • Nicholas (died in 1824), retired lieutenant colonel. The first marriage was married to Princess Varvara Alekseevna Golitsyna (1750-1779), the granddaughter of the Moscow governor Sergei Alekseevich Golitsyn (1695-1758).
  • Daria, the girl
  • Barbara, married to L.-G. Sergeant Alexander Vasilievich Plokhov (Plakhov)
