Kaverinsky district was formed on February 21, 1935 as part of the Moscow region .
The following village councils were included in the district:
- from Sasovskiy district : Aglomazovsky, Bolushevo-Bogdanovsky, Bolshe-Studenetsky 1st, Bolshe-Studenetsky 2nd, Yerneevsky, Koldamyshevsky, Malo-Studenetsky, Nizhne-Maltsevsky, Novoberezovsky, Pyatinevsky, Rakovsky, Seitovsky, Staroberezovsky, Tarkhnov, Tarkhnov, Tarkhnov Usadsky, Khrushchevsky, Tsyplyakovsky, Yurinsky
- from the Chuchkovsky district : Aladyinsky, Demidovsky, Podsosensky, Prosandeevsky, Fedyaevsky
- from the Shatsky region : Bolshe-Agishevsky, Inno-Slobodsky, Kaverinsky, Kuplinsky, Kuchasyevsky, Lipo-Podisakovsky, Novoromanovsky, Novoselsky, Rzhavetsky, Sbornovsky, Snovo-Zdorovsky, Staroromanovsky, Timeshevsky, Trostyanovsky, Shamorgsky, Yambirn.
March 20, 1936 Khrushchevsky s / s was abolished.
September 26, 1937 Kaverinsky district was transferred to the Ryazan region [2] .
In March 14, 1958, the Kaverinsky district was disbanded with the transfer of the territory to the Shatsky and Sasovsky regions.
