Racial composition of the population: white - 89.86%, African - Americans - 6.29%, Native Americans ( Indians ) - 0.19%, Asians - 0.69%, Hawaiians - 0.01%, representatives of other races - 1.57 %, representatives of two or more races - 1.39%. Hispanics accounted for 3.40% of the population, regardless of race .
