As a teenager, she suffered from a mental illness. She was hospitalized in a psychiatric clinic. After treatment, she moved to Paris to try her luck. [1] After some time, she met with Jean Cocteau [2] , who helped her become a cabaret singer, introducing her into the world of music. In 1963, she joined the Pathé Records label registry. [3] She was called the new Edith Piaf , compared to Barbara . For her, they wrote songs by Michel Brezar and also Charles Dumont, who wrote hits for Edith Piaf. [four]
Mushroom died from mixing alcohol with medicine at the age of 26 years. She was buried at the Bagno cemetery in Montrouge . [one]
