The village is located on the highway Sudislavl - Soligalich P100 .

History

According to the Lists of the inhabited places of the Russian Empire in 1872, the village of Zelentsino belonged to the 1st camp of the Chukhloma district of the Kostroma province . There were 20 yards in it , 33 men and 27 women lived. [2]

According to the 1897 census , 114 people (57 men and 57 women) lived in the village of Zelentsino . [3] [K. one]

According to the List of Populated Places of the Kostroma Province in 1907, the village of Zelentsino belonged to the Muravyischensky volost of the Chukhloma district of the Kostroma province . According to the volost government, in 1907 there were 36 peasant households and 208 inhabitants. In the village there was a zemstvo station. [3] [K. 2]

Before the municipal reform of 2010, the village was also part of the Stepanovsky rural settlement. [4] [5]
