Geography
The commune is located approximately 550 km south of Paris , 65 km north-east of Toulouse , 15 km north-west of Albi [1] .
About half of the commune's territory is occupied by vineyards.
Climate
The climate is temperate oceanic [2] . Winters are mild and rainy, hot summers with frequent thunderstorms. Winds are quite rare.

Economics
In 2007, among 284 people of working age (15–64 years), 203 were economically active , 81 were inactive (the activity indicator was 71.5%, in 1999 it was 66.5%).
