Club career
Pupil of the French clubs Vincent and Clerfontaine and the youth academy Paris Saint-Germain .
Charleroi
He signed his first professional contract in 2005 with the Belgian Charleroi . In the Belgian Championship, he made his debut on July 29, 2006 in a game against Liers (0: 0). From Charleroi he went on lease twice - to the club of one of the lower divisions of Belgium “ AFC Tubiz ” (in which he scored 10 goals in 13 matches) and to one of the strongest clubs in Romania - “ Steaua ” from Bucharest . For five incomplete seasons he played 51 matches for the main team of Charleroi in the championships of Belgium and scored 14 goals.
Sylte Waregem
In 2010, Habibu signed a contract with another Belgian club, Sylte Waregem , spent 30 matches for him in the first season and scored 12 goals. In one of the games of the 2010/11 season, against Lokeren, a football player caught a duck that ran onto the field and carried it out of the field [2] .

Ghent
In the winter transfer window 2013/14, Habibu transferred to Gent , also playing in the Belgian championship , for a total of 1.6 million euros. In the remainder of the season, he scored 11 goals in 15 games, including making a hat-trick three times - in matches against Circle Brugge, Vaasland-Beveren and Liersa. Having scored a total of 20 goals per season, he finished third in the 2013–14 Belgian Championship scorers' dispute.
In the summer of 2014, the German “ Werder Bremen ” and “ Hamburg ” and the Moscow “ CSKA ” showed interest in Habib [9] .
