The municipal unitary enterprise for the provision of services “ Liozno bread base ” is a storage of grain and sugar , the largest elevator in Belarus [1] . Located in the village of Liozno .

The bread base consists of an elevator on Dobromyslyanskaya Street 36 and a bakery on Chkalov Street.

Carries out activities for storage and subsequent refinement (drying, purification from impurities, etc.) of grain and leguminous crops, as well as rapeseed .

The base is capable of storing up to 140 thousand tons of grain. It is gross-forming for the district budget - 14 percent of revenues (2011). [2] Bread for half of the inhabitants of Vitebsk is baked from grain stored at the base [3] .

The base elevator is the largest in Belarus, grain is brought into it from Polotsk, Lida, Minsk, Borisov and other cities.

Part of the dried and refined grain is exported ; so in 2015, after entering the register of enterprises of the Customs Union, more than 20 thousand tons of grain were shipped to Russia [4] .
