Racial composition of the population: white - 98.02%, African - Americans - 1.88%, Native Americans ( Indians ) - 0.12%, Asians - 0.17%, Hawaiians - 0.02%, representatives of other races - 0.25 %, representatives of two or more races - 0.54%. Hispanics accounted for 0.80% of the population, regardless of race .
