Career

Born in Newcastle upon Tyne , Adam entered the Newcastle United Academy at the age of 9, where he played quite successfully for the reserve team, but never played a single match for Newcastle's first team. Once Bartlett rode with the main team to the UEFA Champions League match against Internazionale as a reserve goalkeeper, but he did not enter the field.

Unable to impress the Newcastle bosses, Adam signed a contract with the Blythe Spartans Northern Premier League club. Bartlett got his first chance after the injury of the main goalkeeper Craig Turns, and then managed to gain a foothold as the No. 1 goalkeeper in the club.

After leaving the club, he was included in the Blythe Spartans Hall of Fame.

In July 2008, Bartlett’s contract with Blythe Spartans expired, and the goalkeeper transferred to Kidderminster Harriers as a free agent. He was recognized as the best goalkeeper of the National Conference in the 2008/09 season.

June 22, 2009 Adam Bartlett moved to Hereford United . In one of the first matches, Hereford helped pass the Charlton Athletic in the English League Cup , reflecting Andy Gray's penalty.

On June 8, 2012, Bartlett signed a contract with Gateshead . The Englishman made his debut for the “head” in the match against Luton Town on August 11, 2012. Adam made a significant contribution to the success of the team in the 2013/14 season - the “hid” was one step away from getting into the Second Football League of England , but lost in the final of the Cambridge United playoffs, and Bartlett himself was then nominated for the title of best goalkeeper of the season .
