Biography
In 1930, he joined the Victory collective farm in the Tulkubassky district of the South Kazakhstan region . He worked as an ordinary collective farmer. In 1936 he was appointed a field link manager. He participated in the Great Patriotic War. After demobilization, he returned to his native collective farm, in which he continued to work as a link. In 1957 he was appointed deputy chairman of the collective farm.
In 1947, a field link under the leadership of Vasily Shestakov collected 33 centners of grain from a 31.5 hectare site. For this he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor in 1948.
Participated in the All-Union Exhibition of VDNH.
