History
The album was released on April 3, 2012 via Big Machine Records . In the first week of release, the disc took third place in the US Billboard 200 charts (where it became their eighth disc in the top 10) and No. 1 on the Country Charts Top Country Albums (for the 7th time) with a circulation of 130,000 copies per USA. Their last album “ Nothing Like This ” (debut on the Big Machine label, after a long career with Lyric Street), reached only No. 6 (with a circulation of 165,000 copies) [11] . In the country chart, the disc became the 7th consecutive charttopper, and the group itself, therefore, was only the fourth-ever performer with such an achievement (7 country debuts in a row at No. 1) in the digital era of Nielsen Soundscan (since 1991) [12] . On April 3, 2013, the album's circulation reached 502,000 copies in the USA [13] . As of April 2014, the total circulation of the album amounted to 560,000 copies in the United States [14] . In the UK, “Changed” debuted mainly in the Official UK Albums Top 100 only at No. 87, but in the British country chart it became No. 1 (Country Artist Albums Top 20) [15] .
The album received generally positive or moderate reviews from music critics and online publications, such as Taste of Country [5] , Roughstock [4] , Country Weekly [3] , Allmusic [1] , Associated Press [2] , Under The Gun Review [16] , Musicperk [17] , USA Today [7] , The New York Times [8] , About.com [9] , ukCOUNTRYmusic.NET [10] .
