History

It is first mentioned in the Scribe Book of the Vodskaya Pyatina of 1500 as the village of Myakinino Ladozhitsa in the Prechistensky Gorodensky graveyard of Ladoga Uyezd [2] .

On the map of the St. Petersburg province of F. F. Schubert in 1834, it is indicated as the village of Myakinkino [3] .

MYAKINKINO - the village belongs to college adviser Tomilov, the number of inhabitants under the audit: 41 m. P., 35 w. p. [4] (1838)

On the map of Professor S. S. Kutorgi in 1852, the village of Myakinkino is marked [5] .

MYAKINKINO - the village of Mr. Tomilov, on a country road, the number of yards - 15, the number of souls - 49 m. [6] (1856)


MYAKINKINO - the owner's village on the Ladozhka River, the number of yards - 15, the number of inhabitants: 60 m., 61 w. p. [7] (1862)

In the 19th century, Myakinkino administratively belonged to the Mikhailovsky volost of the 1st camp of the Novoladozh district of St. Petersburg province, and at the beginning of the 20th century, of the 2nd camp.

According to the "Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province" for 1905, Myakkino village was part of the Assumption Rural Society [8] .

From 1917 to 1919, the village was part of the Assumption Village Council of the Mikhailovsky Volost of Novoladozh County.

Since 1919, as part of the October volost of the Volkhov district .

Since 1924, as part of the Staroladozhsky Village Council.

Since 1927, as part of the Volkhov district [9] .

According to 1933, the village was called Makinkino and was part of the Staroladozhsky village council of the Volkhov district [10] .

In 1939, the population of the village was 215 people.

In 1958, the population of the village was 140 people [9] .

According to the data of 1966, 1973 and 1990, the village of Myakinkino was also part of the Staroladozhsky village council of the Volkhov district [11] [12] [13] .

In 1997, 80 people lived in the village of Myakkino, Staroladozh volost, in 2002 - 98 people (Russians - 93%) [14] [15] .

In 2007, 81 people were in the Myakinkino village of the Staroladozhsky joint venture [16] .

Geography

The village is located in the northwestern part of the district on the highway 41K-196 ( Staraya Ladoga - Trusovo ), northwest of the center of the village of Staraya Ladoga.

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 2 km [16] . The nearest village is the adjacent village of Akhmatova Gora .

The distance to the nearest railway station Volkhovstroy I is 15 km [11] .

The Elena River flows through the village.
