Rafael Paz Marin ( Spanish: Rafael 'Rafa' Paz Marín ; born August 2, 1965 in Puebla de Don Fadrique , Spain ) is a former Spanish footballer known for playing for Sevilla and the Spanish national team . Participant in the 1990 World Cup .

Club career

Paz is a pupil of the Sevilla club. On September 9, 1984, in his match against Athletic Bilbao , he made his debut in La Liga . On February 22, 1987, in a duel against Athletic, Rafael scored his first goal for Sevilla. In 1995, he helped the team take fifth place, which is Paz's biggest achievement in his career. In 1997, he left the team after spending 13 years in it. His new club was the Mexican Celaya . for the new team, he spoke with his compatriots Rafael Martin Vazquez and Emilio Butrageno . In 1998, Paz ended his career.

International Career

On February 21, 1990, in a friendly match against the Czechoslovak team, Paz made his debut for the Spanish team . In 1990, Rafael fell into the application of the national team to participate in the World Cup in Italy . At the tournament, he played in fights against the national teams of Yugoslavia [1] and Uruguay [2] .
