Scuticaria itirapinensis

Scuticaria itirapinensis (lat.) Is a species of monocotyledonous plants of the genus Scuticaria of the Orchidaceae family ( Orchidaceae ) [2] [3] . The plant was first described by the Brazilian botanist Guid Frederic Juan Pabst in 1973 [4] [4] .

Distribution Description

Endemic to Brazil [2] [5] , common in the state of São Paulo [3] [6] [7] .

Epiphytic plant [8] . The pseudobulb is small, carries a long dense leaf. The lip is bright yellow, noticeably contrasting with the color of the petals [9] .
